We are excited to announce that Grundy Art Gallery and the pARTnership will be presenting a solo booth of artworks by Chloe Macfarlane at The Manchester Contemporary art fair 2024. The presentation will reflect the breadth of Chloe’s practice and will provide an insight into her experimental approach to photography, collage, painting and textiles. In addition to showing her work, the artist has also co-curated the presentation, sharing the role of selecting, positioning and interpreting the artworks with other colleagues from the pARTnership and the Grundy team.
The pARTnership is an ongoing creative and professional development project for Blackpool based artists with a learning disability. The project is led by Grundy Art Gallery and lead artist Tina Dempsey, in collaboration with The New Langdale (Blackpool Council’s day-time service for people with a learning-disability) and Venture Arts, Manchester who act as a critical friend to the project and offer peer support. The pARTnership is funded by Arts Council England, through Grundy Art Gallery’s National Portfolio status.
