The Blackpool Art Fair is Grundy’s biannual exhibition which showcases some of the creative activity taking place across the Fylde coast, and a little further afield. It is an exhibition to cherish what might otherwise go unnoticed or be creatively undervalued in the community. Taking part this year are the Blackpool Model VillageBlackpool Art Society and LAPIS – Lancashire Anomalous Phenomena Investigation Society.

Memorabilia from Blackpool band Section 25 is presented as a tribute to founder member Larry Cassidy who died in 2010,and the exhibition includes Ray Beresford’s tree donkey ‘Mr. Head’ – a dead tree which resembles a donkey which Ray discovered on the edge of the Macclesfield canal.

The exhibition also includes an opportunity for the residents of Blackpool and the Fylde coast and nearby areas, to show their own artwork, and this year’s exhibition includes over 120 entries.
