Grundy’s annual open submission exhibition once again promises to give visitors an insight into the diverse and dynamic creative practices underway across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. There is no selection process and artworks are exhibited in the chronological order in which they are dropped off at the gallery.
Honouring the founding ethos of the Grundy ‘To show the best art of the day’, the only stipulation is that artworks submitted must have been made in the last 12 months and not shown at the Grundy before. With increasing numbers of submissions each year the Open exhibition continues to be a highlight of Grundy’s annual calendar.
