ILLUSTRATE. ANIMATE. ILLUMINATE

Grundy Art Gallery is delighted to announce  ILLUSTRATE. ANIMATE. ILLUMINATE as our 2020 annual Blackpool schools’ exhibition.

This year, the exhibition presents the work of pupils aged 7-10 years of age from six schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.

In November and December 2019, pupils visited the gallery to experience, Grundy Art Gallery’s light-themed exhibition, ‘A Trick of the Light’.

During follow up workshops with artist Amber Akaunu, pupils have produced their own work inspired by what they experienced.

This year’s participating schools are: Devonshire Primary Academy, Hawes Side Primary School, Highfurlong School, Kincraig Primary School, Stalmine Primary School and St. John Vianney’s Catholic Primary School.
